Due to public demand, in the Summer of 2004 we will start
offering authentic, handwired re-issues of some of our most
respected and sought-after amplifiers. We are launching this
exciting series with two heads, a combo and four,
hand-soldered extension cabinets.
1974X
- handwired re-issue of a model 1974
(originally produced from 1965 to 1968): an all-valve (3 x
ECC83, 1 x EZ81 rectifier, 2 x EL84) 18-watt, two-channel
1x12 combo with valve-driven Tremolo. A proprietary, 'aged'
re-issue of the 20 Watt, ceramic magnet Celestion T1221
speaker used in the originals adds to the 1974X's tonal
authenticity.
1974CX
- a 1x12" extension cabinet that matches the
1974X. It also boasts our proprietary, 'aged' re-issue of
the original 20 Watt, ceramic magnet Celestion T1221 speaker
2061X
- a handwired re-issue of a model 2061
(originally produced from 1967 to 1973): an all-valve (2 x
ECC83, 2 x EL84) 20 Watt, 'Lead and Bass' head.
2061CX
- a hand soldered, 60 Watt, 2x12" angled
cabinet that matches the 2061X. Loaded with re-issue 30 Watt
Celestion G12H speakers.
